2. Machined from a blank forged high strength Aluminum alloy with state-of-art multi-axis computer-controlled CNC machine.

Castings replaced by Improved material forged Custom 450. No coating required. Airfoils fully machined. Tighter tolerances on blade profile setting angle root radii. Improved performance demonstrated during back to back test cell run. 4.2% power increase / 22°F TOT decrease. 1.5% SFC Improvement.
